How to host a live audio room, step by step.

To host a live audio room, check your eligibility and setup, choose a topic and prepare a simple opening. Welcome listeners, explain the room controls and leave space for people to join the conversation.

How to host a live audio room, step by step.

Prepare three things before you open the room.

Pick a topic specific enough to talk about for ten minutes without notes — not “let’s chat” but something like “songs that changed how you think about a genre.” A vague topic makes the first awkward silence worse.

Check your sound with a earlier test, and decide up front whether you’ll use music broadcasting. Deciding mid-room costs you momentum you don’t get back easily.

The first five minutes set the tone for the rest of the room.

State the topic plainly as soon as a couple of people arrive, rather than waiting for a full room. Waiting in silence for an audience is the single most common reason a first room stalls.

Invite the first arrivals onto a seat directly rather than hoping someone volunteers. A specific invitation (“come say what you think”) gets a much better response than an open one.

Handle silence, latecomers and sign-off without overthinking any of them.

A quiet stretch is not a failing room — let it breathe for a few seconds before you fill it, rather than panic-filling every pause. Welcome latecomers briefly without re-explaining the whole topic from scratch; a one-line recap is enough.

Close deliberately: a short thank-you and a note that you’ll be back gives the room a clean ending, and gives people a reason to look for your next one.

Short answer: Coins and Diamonds are virtual units that exist only inside Vozzo. Coins are what you use. Diamonds are what a host collects from gifts. Neither is money.
